What You Can Do With Our Illustrations ✅

For Your Own Teaching

You're a teacher and want to use the illustrations in your classroom? Perfect - that's what they're made for! You can use the illustrations without restrictions for all materials you use in your own teaching.

This includes:

  • Creating worksheets and teaching materials
  • Designing presentations and digital learning materials
  • Decorating your classroom
  • Enhancing parent communications and school correspondence
  • Creating materials for school events

For use in your own classroom, you don't need any special attribution and can freely combine the illustrations with your content.

For Commercial Educational Products

You create teaching materials for Eduki, Lehrermarktplatz, or your own educational blog? You're welcome to use our illustrations for these purposes too. Just keep in mind these important points:

1. Educational Value

Your materials must have educational value. This means:

  • Your own instructions, tasks, or explanations
  • Well-thought-out educational concept
  • The illustrations enhance your content but don't stand alone

2. Secure Integration

The illustrations must be securely embedded in your documents:

  • For PDFs: Embed as non-extractable images
  • For digital materials: Combine with other elements (text, backgrounds)
  • No distribution of individual image files

3. Attribution

Required Information:

  • Text: "Illustrations by Schul.Art (https://schul.art/)"
  • Placement: On the credits page or in the imprint
  • For social media: Include "@schul.art" in the post text

For Digital Learning Platforms

Modern teaching happens digitally too. That's why you can also use our illustrations in various digital learning environments.

Allowed Platforms:

  • School internal systems (Moodle, IServ, etc.)
  • Microsoft Teams / Google Classroom
  • PowerPoint / Google Slides
  • Digital whiteboards
  • Learning platforms like Anton

Important Rules:

  • Access only for your learning group
  • Combine illustrations with content
  • No downloadable individual image files
  • For movable elements: Combine with text/background

What's Not Allowed ❌

1. Distribution of Original Illustrations

  • No sharing of image files
  • No resale license
  • No use in editable templates

2. Use Outside Education

  • No commercial use outside of educational products
  • No use for logos or corporate design
  • No use for merchandise or print products

3. Modification of Illustrations

  • No color changes
  • No modifications
  • No extraction of individual elements

4. Special Restrictions

  • No pure coloring pages or templates
  • No app or software development
  • No public template collections

Special Use Cases

Social Media & Marketing

You may use our illustrations on social media to promote your educational products.

Allowed:

  • Posts about your created materials
  • Preview images for your products
  • Pinterest pins of your materials

Rules:

  • Always in combination with your content
  • Attribution "@schul.art" in the post
  • No posting of individual illustrations
  • Not for profiles or logos

Print & School Publications

For printed materials in your school:

Allowed:

  • School yearbooks
  • School newspapers
  • Posters and displays
  • Information material for parents

Conditions:

  • Only for your school community
  • No commercial use
  • For larger print runs: Please inquire first

Legal Details

This single-user license grants you the right to use our illustrations according to these terms. The copyright remains with Schul.Art. The license is:

  • Non-transferable
  • For a single user
  • Non-sublicensable

All illustrations are protected by German and international copyright law.
