Download & Technical
How does the clipart download work after purchase?
After successful purchase, you'll automatically receive an email with your download link. You can use this link to download your cliparts directly as a ZIP file. The files are available for download immediately after purchase. If you have a customer account with us, you can also find your downloads at any time in your account under "My Orders".
How do I open the downloaded ZIP file?
A ZIP file is like a digital envelope containing all your illustrations. Here's how to open it:
On Windows:
- Double-click the downloaded ZIP file
- Click "Extract All" at the top
- Choose a location on your computer
- Click "Extract"
On MacOS:
- Simply double-click the ZIP file
- Your Mac will automatically create a new folder with your illustrations in the same directory
Tip: Save the extracted files somewhere easy to remember, such as a folder called "Schul.Art Illustrations" in your Documents.
In what formats do I receive the illustrations?
All illustrations are delivered as high-quality PNG files without background. For each illustration, you receive both a color version and a black and white version (outline drawing).
Which programs can I use to edit the clipart?
Our illustrations can be used in all common programs, including:
- Microsoft PowerPoint
- Worksheet Crafter
- Prowise
- Google Slides
- Adobe programs
- and many more
What should I do if the download doesn't work?
Don't worry! Simply send us an email to hey@schul.art and we'll help you right away. We typically respond within one business day.
How long do I have access to my purchased files?
After purchase, you receive a download link via email that remains valid indefinitely as long as you don't delete the email. Even better: If you create a free customer account with us, you'll have access to all your past purchases in your account and can download them from there at any time.
License & Usage
Can I use the clipart for commercial educational materials?
Yes! You can use our illustrations in your commercial educational products (e.g., on educational marketplaces). Just make sure to include a source credit and combine the illustrations with your own content. You can find the detailed terms in our Terms of Use.
Do I need to include a source credit for the illustrations?
For personal use in teaching, no source credit is required. For commercial use (e.g., selling materials), please include "Illustrations by Schul.Art (https://schul.art/)" in the credits or imprint. You can find the detailed instructions in our Terms of Use.
Can I use the clipart on my school blog/social media?
Yes, you can use the illustrations on your educational blog or social media as long as they're part of your educational content. For social media posts, please mention @schul.art. Find detailed social media usage guidelines in our Terms of Use.
Can multiple teachers at one school use the purchased clipart?
No, our licenses are single-user licenses that are valid for only one person (see our Terms of Use). If multiple teachers want to use the illustrations, each person needs their own license. For schools needing multiple licenses, we're happy to offer individual bulk discounts - just send us an email at hey@schul.art.
Can I use the illustrations for school events and parent letters?
Yes, you can use the illustrations for all school purposes, including notices, parent letters, and school events.
Product & Quality
What is the resolution/quality of the clipart?
All illustrations are delivered in high resolution (300 dpi) and are optimized for both digital and print materials.
Can I adjust the size of the illustrations?
Yes, since our illustrations are delivered in high quality, you can easily make them smaller or larger without losing quality.
Are the illustrations suitable for printing?
Yes! All illustrations are optimized in CMYK color profile for printing and deliver brilliant results on paper.
Are the clipart also available in black and white?
Yes, with each color illustration you automatically receive a black and white version (outline drawing).
Can I change colors or details of the illustrations?
No, the illustrations are protected by copyright and may not be modified. This includes color adjustments. You can find the detailed rules in our Terms of Use.
Orders & Discounts
Can I buy individual illustrations instead of complete packages?
No, our illustrations are only available as complete themed packages. Each package is carefully curated and offers you a variety of matching illustrations on a theme.
Are there bulk discounts for schools?
Currently, we don't offer standard bulk discounts. However, if you need multiple licenses for your school, please send us an email at hey@schul.art - we'll be happy to find a suitable solution!
Is there a newsletter discount for new customers?
Yes! When you sign up for our newsletter, you'll receive a 10% discount on your first order.
